Dear Sangha friends, beste Sangha vrienden (Dutch below)
The past weeks we concentrated during the Monday evenings on the theme: "Meditation as attitude in your life and to touch your life really by being in the present moment". This Monday we will continue this theme.
Meditation is a very honest practice to get in contact with life as it presents itself in the present moment Thich Nhat Hanh calls this practice of "Coming Home to your true home: the present moment, in this body with this consciousness".
We can enjoy living, enjoy being alive, enjoy being. Feel grateful of being,apart from our thoughts and emotions. Being alive is a miracle, the turbulence and the cacophony around us and in us makes forget that we have received a precious gift. And we forget our freshness and solidity. By being mindful and with meditation we can experience the joy of being alive. And train ourselves to experience this joy throughout the day.
Monday August 20, we come together again in the Schatkamer (Mimosaplein 2 Eindhoven) and I am happy to guide this evening.
