Dear Sangha friends, beste Sangha vrienden (Dutch below)
At the end of 2018 we stop in gratitude, for many the Christmas season is a time to come together and share and cherish the warmth and friendship. Christmas holds for me the symbolism of the birth (or awakening) of loving kindness and compassion; Of inclusiveness and solidarity.
At the same time we have a loving remembrance of everything we have received and the friends that have passed or are in difficulty.
Especially we bring in our attention
Brigitte Mulder,
recent member of our Sangha, who passed on last week, on december 8.
Next to her joyful loving and inspiring presence she has brought a beautiful book into this world:
"Yoga voor Kinderen" which will give joy and freedom to many.
www.yogaenmeditatie.comand we bring in our attention
Anna Tulkens,
who passed on last year, on Christmas eve december 24th - 2017.
Anna was present at the founding of our Sangha more than 10 years ago and her sparkling creativity has infected the people around her. Her positive wisdom helped the Sangha to go on during a difficult start.
Anna told me once that the moment she heard that she was ill, there came an immediate calmness and clarity in her. She said: "This is what is given me and I will love and enjoy to make it beautiful"
With her friendly and persistent energy she took on her illness together with her partner Bram. Together they created the awarded web-service of
www.HOESTIE.nl ; a platform for contact between a person that is critically ill and the community of family and friends.
With warm regards,
I wish you a wonderful day,
Hans
