Pasen - Easter 2026.
Dierbare Sangha,
We wensen ieder mooie paasdagen vol verbinding en vrijheid.
Ons bereikte het bericht dat onze leraar Thay Cuong Lu opgenomen is in het ziekenhuis van Gouda, hij heeft vergiftigings verschijnselen. De bron van deze symptomen is helaas nog niet vastgesteld.
Hij maakt het ondertussen goed en is herstellende.
We wensen hem beterschap vanuit de diepte van ons hart.
In onze beoefening hebben we het vaak over de twee dimensies waarin we de realiteit waarnemen.
De historische dimensie en de ultieme dimensie.
In de historische dimensie is onze aandacht gevangen door de beroering en kakofonie van alledag.
De ultieme dimensie brengt ons in verbinding over ruimte en tijd. Er is geen afscheiding of concepten, geen komen, geen gaan.
De ervaring van de verbinding geeft ons vertrouwen en innerlijke vrede.
Het geeft het diepe inzicht dat wij een voortzetting zijn van onze voorouders (onze wortels) en dat wij de wortels vormen van de generatie na ons.
Geboorte en dood hebben geen betekenis in de ultieme dimensie.
Vandaag is een vreedzame dag

Easter 2026.
Dear Sangha,
We wish all a happy Easter filled with connectedness and freedom.
We received the message that our teacher Thay Cuong Lu has been hospitalized in Gouda with symptoms of poissonning. The source of his condition has not yet been established.
His condition has improved and he is recovering. We wish him well from the depth of our hearts.
In our Buddhist practice we often talk about two dimensions in which we perceive reality.
The historical dimension and the ultimate.
In the historical dimension our awareness is fully absorbed by the commotion and cacophony of day to day life.
The ultimate dimension brings us connectedness over time and space. There is no separateness or concepts, no coming no going.
The experience of connectedness gives us confidence and inner peace.
It gives the deep insight that we are the continuation of our ancestors (our roots) en that we are the root of the generations after us.
Birth and death are meaningless in the ultimate dimension.
Today is going to be my peaceful day
